Meet Amy Pellarin

Amy Pellarin, RSW, MSW - Associate Psychotherapist (IC) at EFCP

Hi, I’m Amy. One of your therapists at EFCP.

Getting Lost and Finding a Path Together

Life can sometimes present challenges that make us feel “off” path. I’m here to meet you where you are in your journey, whether it’s one of transition, grief, anxiety, relationships, vulnerability, or healing from trauma. Together, we can navigate the wavy, messy path and work on healing the wounds that shape your story.

A Compassionate Approach to Healing

With over five years of experience working with survivors of sexual violence of all genders, I understand that there’s no “one size fits all” approach to healing. Trauma impacts each person differently based on their unique life experiences. I’m here to explore these intersections with you, creating space for growth and self-discovery at a pace that feels right for you.

Why Choose Me?

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. I believe the challenges and difficulties you face are only part of who you are—they don’t define the whole picture. I’m here to meet you at your best and your worst, holding space for joy, laughter, celebration, and connection alongside the tough moments. My goal is to create a safe, trusting environment where you feel supported with compassion and without judgment.

My Approach: Inward-Outward Healing

I take an intersectional, feminist, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive lens to therapy, integrating approaches like DBT, narrative therapy, and ACT. My “inward-outward” philosophy focuses on gaining inner insights and connecting them to the relationships, communities, and systems in your outer life.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I’m not working with clients, I find joy in cooking and eating. For me, food is a way to explore my intersecting identity and a love language I use to care for myself and those I cherish. And while I adore all animals, I have a biased opinion that my two cats are the best!
