Depression isn’t just sadness. It’s a deep, exhausting weight that can make even the smallest tasks feel impossible. It can show up as numbness, hopelessness, or feeling disconnected from the world and yourself. Maybe you struggle to find motivation, feel stuck in self-doubt, or carry guilt for not being able to ‘snap out of it.’ Others may tell you to just get up and do something, but if it were that simple, you would have done it already.
We understand that depression is more than just a mood - it’s often a response to something deeper. It can be protective, especially if you've experienced trauma. It can feel like a shutdown, a way your mind and body have tried to keep you safe. We help you make sense of your experience, offering compassion and connection as you begin to understand yourself in a new way.
