Alcohol use is deeply embedded in our culture - celebrations, social gatherings, even the nightly ritual of unwinding with a drink. It’s often seen as a way to relax or as a well-earned reward at the end of a long day. But while these habits are normalized, alcohol and drug use are also linked to significant health concerns, and there can come a moment when you start to wonder: Is this still working for me?
For some, the tipping point is recognizing a growing dependence. Needing to drink or use daily, feeling uneasy without it, or noticing how it’s affecting relationships, work, or overall well-being. Maybe you’ve tried to cut back, but it’s harder than you expected. Maybe you’re questioning why you turn to alcohol or substances in the first place.
We specialize in helping people explore the underlying reasons behind their use, whether it’s stress, self-criticism, past trauma, or something else. Therapy isn’t about shame or judgment. It’s about understanding your patterns, finding healthier ways to cope, and reconnecting with yourself in a way that fosters relief and self-trust.
